Drupal 6 Released - AHAH Forms
Drupal 6 was free today. One of the most exciting newborn features to me — I exclusive fresh learned about — is that the AHAH (Asychronous HTML and HTTP) framework made it into the Drupal core. This means you crapper create asychronous HTTP request, commonly referred to as AJAX, without composition a azygos line of JavaScript code.
The newborn Forms API comes with an #ahah concept that lets you specify the trigger event, e.g. a mouse click, the asking URL that will be requested after the event occurred and the ID value of the HTML element where the computer salutation will be displayed. Pretty awing stuff.
